O C A R R E G [Of Stone] is an ongoing examination of the formal qualities of geological place and stone structure in Wales. The project began in late 2022 and is continually developing.

Stone and geology are the threads connecting me to my Welsh heritage, something I was only partially able to access in my youth. Hard, dark Caradocian and Carboniferous rock can seem - to some - difficult to understand; a monolith that does not tell its story.

I continue to explore the legacy of deep time through the imperceptible motion of stone.
